How to qualify to teach 'power' sports

RYA Powerboat Instructor
Can teach: RYA Powerboat level 1, 2 and safety boat (if holds the RYA safety boat certificate)

Pre-requisites:
Minimum age:16 years
RYA Powerboat level 2 certificate & Powerboat Instructor skills assessment
RYA First aid certificate (or similar)
At least 5 seasons part-time or 1 seasons full time experience of powerboat handling

Hold all pre-requisites? = Complete an RYA Powerboat instructor course
Duration: 3 days

RYA Advanced Powerboat Instructor
Can teach: RYA Powerboat intermediate, RYA Advanced powerboat

Pre-requisites:
Minimum age:17 years
RYA Powerboat instructor certificate & have teaching experience
RYA First Aid certificate (or similar)
RYA VHF/DSC certificate
RYA Advanced powerboat certificate
Knowledge up to a minimum of RYA Day skipper shorebased

Pre-requisites:

Pre-requisites:
RYA PWC certificate of competence
RYA First Aid certificate (or similar)
5 years part-time or 1 season full-time PWC handling experience

RYA Dinghy/keelboat or catamaran Instructor
Can teach: RYA Start sailing, Basic skills, Seamanship skills, Day sailing

Pre-requisites:
Minimum age: 16 years
RYA First Aid certificate
RYA Powerboat level 2 certificate
Experienced competent dinghy sailor in centre & aft main dinghies
Successfully completed a Pre-entry sailing assessment at an RYA dinghy school
